As someone who's passionate about creating, it's easy to slip into a "I need to do this, or else" mindset. But that desire creates a sort of tunnel vision, putting your body into a state of fear. You're desperate to escape the prospect of failure, but all that tension and panic is what's keeping you stuck. Trying to push away the fear just makes it worse.
Underneath that inner panic is a set of emotional beliefs that have been with you a long time: stories around who you need to be and what you need to accomplish in order to "matter", in order to be "worthy", in order for people to listen to you, in order to not be alone.
Because these stories have been with you for a long time, because they've been effective at keeping you safe, your subconscious doesn't want to give them up.

Those emotional beliefs can be changed. The story you tell yourself can be updated. The fear in your body can be released. We can change the way your ambition feels, and as a result, make the creative process feel fun again.
The way we do that is by bringing those beliefs into conscious awareness, while cultivating a state of safety in the body. That combination of awareness and safety allows your subconscious to update its understanding of the world, transforming the sense of urgency from "Augh I need to do this!" to "Oh yeah, I'm going to make this happen."

In our work together, I'll teach you the 3-step process to transform your emotional beliefs—the exact same process I've used to build my own business.
First, we want to get crystal clear on your desires. That includes your external goals:

Often our desires are blocked by fear around who we're "supposed" to be. We'll use a stance of loving curiosity to untangle that fear, meeting every part of you with warmth and acceptance.
Our goal will be to create a full picture of what you want, inside and out, and for you to feel encouraged & empowered to pursue that vision.
Again, we can use the external/internal frame. But to be honest, here I'm most interested in why you don't feel you're allowed to have what you want.
All of us are operating within a subconscious "rulebook" of who we're allowed and not allowed to be. What makes our creative journey so frustrating and so powerful is that we're often fighting against those implicit rules, stretching beyond the identity that feels safe to us.
In this stage, we'll get clear on:
By creating a safe container for these emotional beliefs to emerge into consciousness, we also create the conditions for them to change. We want to transform "I don't know if I can do this" into "it's just a matter of time".

Weekly or bi-weekly coaching sessions to help you gain a deep understanding of your experience.
We'll bring in tools from IFS, Focusing, Somatic Experiencing, Coherence Therapy, and more, but the main focus will be on creating a space of warm curiosity, where you can get a clear picture of where you are and where you want to be.
After each session, I'll send you a handwritten email summarizing what we discussed, including key takeaways and questions to consider. These emails will help you track your progress over time and stay focused on the most important pieces.
I'll also send you some light "homework", somatic practices you can bring into your day-to-day to accelerate your progress between sessions. These will be tailored to you & your journey, giving you exactly what you need to accelerate your progress.
